Position Summary
Kregel Publications is seeking an organized, creative, and collaborative Social Media and Digital Marketing Coordinator to support the marketing and promotion of our growing publishing program. This role assists with day-to-day digital marketing efforts, including social media management, content creation, email marketing, and title launch support for approximately 45–60 new releases annually.

Work with the Marketing & Sales Associate and Marketing Director to facilitate the efficient and timely use of resources, systems, and processes to effectively promote the overall goals and objectives of Kregel.

Position Responsibilities
Social Media & Content Support
- Work with the marketing team to develop digital ad and social media campaigns for all new releases and backlist promotions.
- Create, schedule, and publish content across Kregel social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, X, and others as appropriate.
- Develop engaging graphics, captions, short-form videos, and promotional assets for new releases and seasonal campaigns.
- Help maintain a consistent and mission-aligned brand across channels.
- Monitor engagement and respond appropriately to comments and messages.
- Work with NetGalley to host upcoming titles.
- Upload and distribute ebooks online.
- Update Kregel’s website, uploading new release information, press releases, book data, banners, etc.
Digital Marketing Coordination
- Coordinate email marketing campaigns and promotional content.
- Create, manage, and execute all digital advertising campaigns for new releases and backlist through available online retailers and platforms (e.g. Amazon, Meta, BookBub, and Google ad campaigns).
- Work with supervisor to update website content, landing pages, and marketing materials as needed.
- Create and distribute monthly email newsletter.
- Manage and grow the Kregel Best online promotion.
- Manage monthly ebook promotions, including working with authors to support those promotions.
Author & Campaign Support
- Assist authors with launch materials, social media assets, and promotional coordination.
- Help organize influencer outreach, launch teams, giveaways, and virtual events.
- Coordinate marketing timelines, assets, and project tracking for titles.
- Grow reviewer contact list.
- Maintain and manage Amazon A+ pages to ensure highest quality and accuracy.
Analytics & Reporting
- Create metadata for all new titles.
- Develop SEO keywords for all new titles.
- Track social media and email performance metrics.
- Compile basic campaign reports and audience insights.
- Identify opportunities for audience growth and increased engagement.
- Review monthly sales reports to ensure accuracy, identify trends, etc.
Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, social media, or a related field.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Basic graphic design skills using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with HTML, Excel, Canva, and Amazon strongly preferred.
- Experience with email marketing platforms preferred.
- Interest and experience in Christian book publishing or Christian media strongly preferred.
