GRAND RAPIDS, MI — On April 1, 2026, ECPA named a Kregel title a Christian Book Award finalist. Sixty-seven titles were recognized across twelve book and Bible categories.
The Incarnate Christ and His Critics by Robert M. Bowman Jr. and J. Ed Komoszewski is a finalist in Bible Reference Works. The authors engage objections to the divine identity of Jesus from Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, progressive Christians, Muslims, Unitarians, and others. Bowman and Komoszewski show how biblical scholarship cannot reasonably ignore the enduring, wide-ranging, and positive case for the deity of Christ.
Find the full list of finalists on the Christian Book Award website. Winners will be announced April 28 at the ECPA Awards Celebration in Chicago.
