Two Kregel Titles Made the Southwestern Journal of Theology's "Book of the Year" List

Kregel Academic & Ministry, an imprint of Kregel Publications, is pleased to announce that two titles have made the "Book of the Year" list in the Southwestern Journal of Theology (SWJT), the theological academic journal of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (SWBTS), Editor David S. Dockery announced on December 1, 2021.

Make Disciples of All Nations: A History of Southern Baptist International Missions, edited by John D. Massey, Mike Morris, and W. Madison Grace II in the "Baptist Studies" category.

40 Questions About Pastoral Ministry by Phil A. Newton in the "Preaching/Ministry/Leadership" category.

A History of Evangelism in North America edited by Thomas P. Johnston was given an honorable mention in the "Evangelism/Missions/Global Church" category.

The recognitions, which began in 2020, honor the top books in 12 different categories as nominated by the faculties of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and Texas Baptist College (TBC). The 2021 selections represent 15 different publishers and include SWBTS and TBC faculty members who either authored, edited, or contributed to publications. See the full list here.
