John Lennox, author of God's Undertaker: Has Science Buried God? and John Dickson, author of Jesus: A Short Life, A Spectator's Guide to Jesus, A Spectator's Guide to World Religions, and the forthcoming Investigating Jesus: An Historian's Quest, will speak at the Wheaton Summer Institute, Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois, June 13-18, 2010.
The Wheaton Summer Institute is hosted annually by Ravi Zacharias International Ministries. Dickson and Lennox will address the theme of the conference in their presentations: "Objections Noted: The Christian's Confidence in a Global Age."
John C. Lennox MA PhD DPhil DSc is Professor in Mathematics at the University of Oxford and Fellow in Mathematics and the Philosophy of Science at Green Templeton College. He has debated Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens and lectured in many universities around the world. He is particularly interested in the interface of science, philosophy and theology. He and his wife Sally live near Oxford.
John Dickson (PhD, Macquarie University) is an Honorary Associate in the Departmet of Ancient History, Macquarie University (Sydney, Austrailia). He lectures in World Religions and is Directory of the Centre for Public Christianity (publicchristianity.org). He is the Author of more than a dozen best selling books and is a busy lecturer and public speaker.
